Go to the download page below, follow the instructions, and download the System Software Update Helper to start the updater. If your computer is running on macOS 11, you also need to download the System Software Update Helper.
#4.01 SONY UPDATE DOWNLOAD PASSWORD#
Type the password for the administrative account.
To load a kernel extension, the message prompts you to allow the application to make changes. Close all currently programs currently running on your computer. Do not remove the battery during the update as the sudden loss of power may render the camera inoperable. Use a fully charged rechargeable battery pack NP-FW50 or the AC adaptor AC-PW20 (sold separately).
